Contact me:
I’m an instructional designer who genuinely loves making learning feel clear, welcoming, and accessible. I’m naturally drawn to simplifying complex information and shaping it into experiences that feel intuitive and easy to navigate.
Visual consistency, thoughtful structure, and accessibility guide the way I design — I pay close attention to spacing, flow, and clarity because I want learners to feel supported, not overwhelmed. This shows up in the way I build materials: creating scenario‑based interactions in Storyline, designing mobile‑responsive microlearning in Rise, and developing job aids and workflow guides that help learners apply skills immediately.
I bring a calm, collaborative approach to every project. I enjoy asking the right questions, listening closely to what people need, and turning ideas into organized, learner‑friendly solutions. Whether I’m refining narration for clarity, tightening layouts for visual balance, or translating SME content into clean storyboards, I focus on creating materials that are polished, purposeful, and genuinely helpful.
My work often includes structuring content into clear learning flows, writing concise on‑screen text, and building performance support tools such as checklists, protocol posters, and quick‑reference guides. I also prioritize accessibility by adding captions, alt text, keyboard‑friendly navigation, and screen‑reader structure to ensure every learner can engage fully.
At the heart of my work is a simple belief: learning should feel empowering. My goal is to design experiences that make information easier to understand, easier to use, and easier to remember — from interactive modules and guided practice activities to clean, accessible templates and instructional visuals that support real‑world performance.
Applied Instructional Design Credential
This badge is the culmination of a 9-month program called Applied Instructional Design Academy. It is earned after completing the ID Fundamentals, Rise, Storyline, eLearning Development, and Instructional Design Process badges. Earners complete 400+ lessons, receive extensive coaching, and complete a rigorous set of learning activities with practice, feedback, multiple revisions, and the completion of simulated client projects. Earners create a portfolio that must pass certain criteria.
Design Process
My process is grounded in clarity, collaboration, and continuous improvement:
Understand the Need: I begin by clarifying the problem, audience needs, and performance goals. This helps ensure every design choice is purposeful and aligned with real‑world outcomes.
Shape the Experience: I map out the learning experience through storyboards, scripts, and interaction plans. At this stage, I focus on accessibility, visual consistency, and reducing cognitive load.
Build With Care: I develop clean, intuitive materials using tools like Storyline, Rise, and Canva. I refine narration, captions, and visuals to ensure everything feels cohesive and learner‑friendly.
Deliver Smoothly: I prepare final materials for LMS upload and ensure the experience works seamlessly from the learner’s perspective.
Reflect & Improve: I review feedback and performance data to identify what worked well and what can be strengthened. Iteration is a natural part of my process.
